I would like to know why we continue spending union funds on the Salt City Post. All the news received is outdated, sometimes by as much as two months. Why don't we use the local union website as a more timely means of communication ? Last issue the SCP did not even have an update from our union president !
With all of the changes management is trying to bring down on us it would be nice to have updates of pending changes. Less rumor and more fact.
And why does the SCP include a full page of sports news ?? Anyone who wants sports news has access to the daily local sport section, magazines, dedicated newspapers, sports on the local news, several sports channels on television, sports reports on their computers and cell phones and you can ask most any male in the building and half the women for the latest sports news. Why do we spend union money on the paper and ink required when it has nothing to do with union matters ?
