Turn in your unopened VOE Survey to your APWU Representative, you will be entered into a Quarterly Drawing for $100.00! (The survey must be unopened!)
At the September, 2006 General Membership meeting this matter was voted on and passed resoundingly. Each member now has the right to choose how they wish to handle this piece of US Mail that is addressed to them.
Only Central New York Area Local APWU Members are eligible for this ongoing program. This is to make it very clear what YOUR UNION thinks of VOE surveys.
This is the option that your Union offers:
1) Give your unopened VOE Survey to your APWU Representative.
2) Your Representative will deposit your survey into a sealed container, which is not opened until the next Union meeting after the end of the current calendar quarter.
3) A random drawing of the unopened surveys is held at the first Union meeting following the end of the calendar quarter. The winner of the drawing will receive $100.00.
4) All remaining VOE Surveys (which were entered for that drawing) will be properly destroyed.
